Who is responsible for your data

What we collect and why
• Membership requests and membership: your name, email and the optional details you give us, to manage your request and, once you join, your membership, fees and voting rights. Legal basis: the membership relationship and our legal obligations as an association.
• Event sign-ups: your name and email, to hold your place and send you reminders. Legal basis: your request to attend.
• Contact form: your name, email and message, to reply to you. Legal basis: your request.
• News of gatherings: your email, only if you tick the box. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the link in every email.
• Payments (once membership opens): handled by our payment provider; we do not see or store your card details.
Photos and personal stories
We take photos at some gatherings. We only publish photos in which you can be recognised, or stories you have shared, with your express consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who else handles your data
• Wix.com Ltd. (Israel), which hosts this website, its forms and event sign-ups. Israel is covered by an EU adequacy decision.

We never sell your data or share it with any other organisation.
How long we keep it
Membership data: while you are a member, then for the periods the law requires for an association's records. Event and contact data: up to 12 months. News emails: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to or limit its use, or take a copy, by writing to hello@musesmalaga.es. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
